Michelle Van Pelt is determined to prevent diet-related diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthy foods. Coming from a family of farmers and working for nonprofits, Michelle joined Dairy MAX in 2022 to make an impact on hunger initiatives. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from the University of Arkansas and brings extensive experience in strategic business planning and consultative business development – working for companies such as McDonald’s Corporation, Danone Institute International, the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas and more. Holding certifications from the Nonprofit Executive Institute and Cost of Poverty Experience, Michelle serves on the board of directors for Ten Thousand Villages; previously launched a nonprofit, Flourish Furnishings; and spearheaded a mobile food pantry, FoodMobile.
