Ingredients

For ham:

  • 1 fully cooked spiral-cut ham, about 8-10 pounds
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼  cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1½ cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions
  1. For ham: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place ham cut-side-down in a roasting pan and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until butter becomes golden-brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Whisk in maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper, and simmer until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.
  4. Brush half of brown butter glaze over ham. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 12-15 minutes per pound of ham, brushing with remaining glaze during the last 30 minutes of baking. Remove foil during the final 15 minutes to allow glaze to caramelize.
  5. For sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream, sour cream, cream cheese, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, salt, pepper and rosemary, until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Slice ham and serve warm, drizzled with maple Dijon cream sauce.
