Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp. instant yeast
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¾ cup whole milk, warm
  • 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. oregano

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm milk with the yeast and sugar. Let this mixture sit for a few minutes until it becomes foamy.
  2. Next, add the melted butter, salt and flour. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 7-10 minutes until it feels smooth and elastic.
  3. Put the dough back in the bowl, cover it and let it rise in a warm spot for about an hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  4. Once the dough has risen, divide it into small, 1-inch balls.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the mozzarella, Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheeses with the minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper.
  6. Grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan and spread about 1 cup of the cheese mixture on the bottom.
  7. Roll each dough ball in the remaining cheese mixture, making sure it's fully coated, then arrange them snugly in the pan.
  8. Cover the pan again and let the dough rise for another 30-45 minutes, until it looks puffy.
  9. While dough is rising, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  10. Bake the monkey bread for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread is cooked through.
