Ingredients
  • ¼ cup cottage cheese
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 1 slice toasted sourdough
  • 1 small avocado, smashed
  • Everything bagel seasoning
     
Instructions
  1. Place the egg in a small pot and cover it with cold water. Make sure the water level is about an inch above the egg.
  2. Bring the water to a full boil over high heat.
  3. Once the water boils, turn off the heat and cover the pot with a lid.
  4. Let the egg sit in the hot water for 10-12 minutes for a hard-boiled egg.
  5. After the time is up, carefully transfer the egg to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
  6. Once the egg is cool, peel and grate it.
  7. In a small bowl, mash the avocado with a fork.
  8. Spread the smashed avocado evenly over the toasted sourdough.
  9. Next, spread the cottage cheese over the avocado layer.
  10. Sprinkle the grated boiled egg on top.
  11. Finish the toast with a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning to taste.

 

Notes/Additions
For some extra heat, top your toast with a ½ teaspoon of chili crunch oil.
