Ingredients
- ¾ cup milk
- ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup water
- 2 bags chai tea
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp. ground cloves
- ⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg
- ⅛ tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Gingerbread man for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring ½ cup of water to a boil.
- Add two chai tea bags and let them steep for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags from the water.
- Add the milk, heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar and all the spices to the saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Top with your gingerbread, serve warm and enjoy.
