Ingredients
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 bags chai tea
  • 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp. ground cloves
  • ⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Gingerbread man for topping (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, bring ½ cup of water to a boil.
  2. Add two chai tea bags and let them steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags from the water.
  4. Add the milk, heavy whipping cream, granulated sugar and all the spices to the saucepan.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. Top with your gingerbread, serve warm and enjoy.
